At Lewiston #2 you can volunteer your time in 3 ways. Active Firefighter, Minor Member, or Active Member.
Active Firefighters must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a physical. Active Firefighters are those that are interested in being interior, structural firefighters, exterior firefighters, or EMTs. An Active Firefighter must be able to respond to hall for fire calls, therefore you must live in or very near our primary response district.
Minor Members must be 16-17 years of age and will transition to Active Firefighter upon reaching the age of 18. Parental permission is required. Minor Members must be able to respond to the hall for fire calls, therefore you must live in or very near our primary response district.
Active Members must be at least 30 years of age, or physically unable to perform firefighting duties.
